Great Southern Blues & Rockabilly Festival

Welcome to the 12th annual Great Southern Blues & Rockabilly Festival and what a weekend it will be.Narooma will be our home for the next 3 years following feedback from many of our festival goers. Over the summer months we have been busy reading all of the suggestions that have been sent to us which in turn helps our planning for this year's festival.Whilst we are nowhere near the biggest festival in Australia, we still offer a 'down to earth' and friendly festival that offers great value for money. Here at festival headquarters we are planning what will be without doubt our best festival yet. We are always interested in your suggestions and comments so please keep them coming. We are refining our festival site to include better staging and facilities all designed to make your festival even more memorable. The line up we are working on for this year's festival is sure to satisfy the most diehard fan.A fantastic blend of international, national and local artists performing over the weekend on the multi stage, all weather site. Be sure to keep checking this website for additions to the line up with the first announcements due on June 1st.Part of our success has been the fact that we don't try to compete with other major festivals around the country. Our intimate site in the middle of town has been a huge success. Look for some subtle refinements to make your festival even more memorable. This year we will again be operating our 'Festival' specific camping area on Smyth Oval which offers camping for the festival patron who never wants to have to travel far to rest at the end of each day.The festival clashes with both NRL and AFL Grand Finals. Once again we have you covered with both games being beamed into the festival site where they can be viewed on our 'Big Screen' in the middle of the site.In previous years and again last year the festival sold out on a number of performance days. Be sure to purchase your tickets in advance to avoid missing out.If you have been to this festival you can understand what it is all about. If you have not been we suggest you check it out...
